Tavares is a musical group formed in 1963 in New Bedford, Massachusetts. The group consists of five brothers: Ralph, Pooch, Chubby, Butch, and Tiny Tavares. They achieved their greatest success in the 1970s with their R&B, funk, and soul music. Tavares is best known for their hits such as "Heaven Must Be Missing an Angel," "It Only Takes a Minute," and "More Than a Woman."
Tavares has released several albums over the years, including "Check It Out" (1973), "In the City" (1975), and "New Directions" (1982).
