Artist Bio:
Tears for Fears is an English pop rock band formed in Bath in 1981. The band was founded by Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith, who were childhood friends. Their music is characterized by emotional lyrics, melodic hooks, and a synth-pop sound. Tears for Fears achieved commercial success in the 1980s with hits such as "Shout," "Everybody Wants to Rule the World," and "Head Over Heels."


The band's debut album, "The Hurting," was released in 1983, followed by their most successful album, "Songs from the Big Chair," in 1985. Tears for Fears went on to release several more albums over the years, with their most recent album, "The Tipping Point," released in 2022. The band has continued to tour and perform live, maintaining a dedicated fan base around the world.
