Teegarden & Van Winkle was a musical duo consisting of Skip "Van Winkle" Knape and David "Teegarden" Teegarden, who were active in the late 1960s and early 1970s. They were known for their blend of rock, pop, and psychedelic music, and they released their self-titled debut album in 1970. The album featured their biggest hit, "God, Love and Rock & Roll," which reached the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Teegarden & Van Winkle were also known for their energetic live performances and their use of unique instrumentation, with Teegarden on drums and Knape on keyboards and vocals. Despite their relatively short-lived career, the duo left a lasting impact on the music scene of the era with their distinctive sound and engaging stage presence.
