Ten Years After is a British blues rock band that was formed in 1967. The band's original lineup consisted of Alvin Lee on vocals and guitar, Leo Lyons on bass, Chick Churchill on keyboards, and Ric Lee on drums. Known for their energetic live performances and extended instrumental jams, Ten Years After gained popularity for their blend of blues, rock, and jazz influences.


The band achieved commercial success with their album "A Space in Time," which featured their most famous song, "I'd Love to Change the World." Ten Years After disbanded in 1974 but reunited in 1983 for a series of concerts and continued to perform sporadically until Alvin Lee's death in 2013. Their music has had a lasting influence on the blues rock genre and they are remembered as one of the prominent bands of the late 1960s and early 1970s.
