Tevin Campbell is an American singer, songwriter, and actor who rose to fame in the early 1990s. He was born on November 12, 1976, in Waxahachie, Texas. Campbell's music career began when he was discovered by jazz legend Quincy Jones and signed to Warner Bros. Records at the age of 12. He released his debut album, "T.E.V.I.N.," in 1991, which included the hit singles "Tell Me What You Want Me to Do" and "Alone with You."
Campbell's second album, "I'm Ready," was released in 1993 and featured the popular singles "Can We Talk" and "Always in My Heart." He continued to release music throughout the 1990s and early 2000s, collaborating with artists like Prince and Chaka Khan. In addition to his music career, Campbell has also appeared in various television shows and films, including a guest role on the hit sitcom "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air."
