Tevin Campbell is an American singer, songwriter, and actor who rose to fame in the late 1980s and 1990s. He was born on November 12, 1976, in Waxahachie, Texas. Campbell's music career took off when he was discovered by jazz legend Quincy Jones and signed to Warner Bros. Records at the age of 12. He released his debut album, "T.E.V.I.N.," in 1991, which included the hit singles "Tell Me What You Want Me To Do" and "Round and Round."

Campbell's second album, "I'm Ready," was released in 1993 and featured the popular songs "Can We Talk" and "I'm Ready." Throughout his career, he has received several Grammy Award nominations for his soulful R&B music. In addition to his music career, Campbell has also appeared in various television shows and films, including a recurring role on the hit TV show "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air."
