The 1975 is an English pop rock band formed in 2002 in Wilmslow, Cheshire. The group consists of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Matthew Healy, lead guitarist Adam Hann, bassist Ross MacDonald, and drummer George Daniel. Known for their eclectic sound that blends elements of pop, rock, and electronic music, The 1975 gained widespread recognition with their self-titled debut album in 2013, which included hits like "Sex" and "Chocolate."
