The band was formed in 1960 in New Jersey and was led by Frankie Valli, known for his distinctive falsetto vocals. The other members of the band were Bob Gaudio, Tommy DeVito, and Nick Massi. The band's music was characterized by catchy melodies, tight harmonies, and orchestral arrangements.
The 4 Seasons had numerous hit songs, including "Sherry," "Big Girls Don't Cry," "Walk Like a Man," and "December, 1963 (Oh, What a Night)." They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990 and continue to perform live, with Frankie Valli as the only original member remaining in the lineup.
