The Four Seasons is an American rock and pop band that was formed in 1960 in New Jersey. The group consists of Frankie Valli as the lead singer, Bob Gaudio on keyboards and tenor vocals, Tommy DeVito on lead guitar and baritone vocals, and Nick Massi on bass guitar and bass vocals. They were known for their unique sound and harmonies, as well as their energetic live performances.
The Four Seasons achieved great success in the 1960s and 1970s with hits such as "Sherry," "Big Girls Don't Cry," and "December, 1963 (Oh, What a Night)." They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990 and continue to perform and tour to this day, with various lineup changes due to the passing of original members. Their music has endured over the years and they are considered one of the most successful and influential bands of their era.
