The 5th Dimension is an American vocal group that achieved fame in the late 1960s and early 1970s. The group was formed in Los Angeles in 1965 and is known for their unique blend of pop, R&B, soul, jazz, and psychedelic music. The original members of the group were Marilyn McCoo, Billy Davis Jr., Florence LaRue, Lamonte McLemore, and Ron Townson.


The 5th Dimension rose to prominence with hits such as "Aquarius/Let the Sunshine In", "Up, Up and Away", and "Wedding Bell Blues". They won multiple Grammy Awards and were inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 2002.
