Artist Bio:
The Allisons were a British pop duo consisting of Bob Day and John Alford. They are best known for representing the United Kingdom in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1961 with their song "Are You Sure?". The song placed second in the competition and went on to become a hit in several countries, including the UK where it reached number 2 on the UK Singles Chart.

Following their Eurovision success, The Allisons released several more singles but were unable to replicate the same level of success. They eventually disbanded in the mid-1960s. Despite their relatively short-lived career, The Allisons remain a notable part of British pop music history for their participation in the Eurovision Song Contest and their hit song "Are You Sure?".
