Artist Bio:
The Allman Brothers Band was an American rock band formed in Jacksonville, Florida, in 1969. The group achieved its greatest success in the early 1970s with a unique sound that blended elements of Southern rock, blues, jazz, and country music. The band was known for its dual lead guitarists, Duane Allman and Dickey Betts, as well as its intricate improvisational jams during live performances.

The Allman Brothers Band released several critically acclaimed albums, including "At Fillmore East" (1971) and "Brothers and Sisters" (1973). Their signature song, "Ramblin' Man," reached the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1973. Tragically, Duane Allman died in a motorcycle accident in 1971, and bassist Berry Oakley died in a similar accident a year later. Despite these setbacks, the band continued to perform and record music over the following decades, solidifying their legacy as one of the pioneers of Southern rock music.
