Artist Bio:
The Allman Brothers Band was an American rock band formed in Jacksonville, Florida in 1969. The group was a pioneer of the Southern rock genre and is best known for their unique blend of blues, rock, and jazz influences. The band's original lineup consisted of Duane Allman and his brother Gregg Allman, along with Dickey Betts, Berry Oakley, Butch Trucks, and Jai Johanny "Jaimoe" Johanson.

The Allman Brothers Band gained commercial success with their 1971 album "At Fillmore East," which is considered one of the greatest live albums in rock history. Tragically, Duane Allman died in a motorcycle accident later that year, but the band continued to release successful albums throughout the 1970s. The Allman Brothers Band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1995 and continued to perform and tour until their final show in 2014.
