Artist Bio:
The American Breed was a 1960s pop rock band from Chicago, Illinois. The band was formed in 1962 and originally consisted of members Gary Loizzo, Al Ciner, Charles Colbert, and Lee Graziano. They gained popularity in 1967 with their hit song "Bend Me, Shape Me," which reached number 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The American Breed continued to release music throughout the late 1960s, with songs like "Green Light" and "Ready, Willing and Able."

In 1969, the band changed their name to simply "Breed" and continued to release music until they disbanded in the early 1970s. Despite their relatively short-lived career, The American Breed made a lasting impact on the music scene of the 1960s with their catchy pop rock sound and memorable hits.
