Artist Bio:
The American Breed was an American rock band formed in 1966 in Chicago, Illinois. The original lineup consisted of Al Ciner, Gary Loizzo, Charles Colbert, and Lee Graziano. They gained popularity in the late 1960s with their hit single "Bend Me, Shape Me," which peaked at number five on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1968. The song was their biggest commercial success and is still considered a classic of the era.
The American Breed released a few more singles and albums in the late 1960s and early 1970s, but none matched the success of "Bend Me, Shape Me." The band eventually disbanded in the early 1970s. Despite their relatively short-lived career, The American Breed left a mark on the music scene of the late 1960s with their catchy melodies and harmonies.
