The Applejacks were a British beat group formed in Solihull, England in 1961. They are best known for their hit single "Tell Me When," which reached number 7 on the UK Singles Chart in 1964. The band was one of the first acts to be signed to The Beatles' manager Brian Epstein's management company, NEMS Enterprises.
The Applejacks released several singles and an album titled "Tell Me When" during their career. The band's lineup consisted of Al Jackson (vocals), Martin Baggott (guitar), Don Gould (keyboards), Megan Davies (bass), and Gerry Freeman (drums). Despite their initial success with "Tell Me When," The Applejacks were unable to replicate the same level of commercial success and disbanded in 1971.
