The Ataris are known for their punk rock and pop punk sound, blending energetic guitar riffs with introspective and emotional lyrics. They gained mainstream success with their 2003 album "So Long, Astoria," which featured the hit single "In This Diary."
Over the years, The Ataris have gone through several lineup changes, with Kris Roe being the only consistent member. The band has released several studio albums, EPs, and singles throughout their career. Some of their other popular songs include "The Boys of Summer," a cover of the classic song originally by Don Henley, and "The Saddest Song." The Ataris continue to tour and perform live, maintaining a dedicated fan base in the punk rock scene.
