Artist Bio:
The Barbarians were an American garage rock band formed in 1964 in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. The band's original lineup consisted of lead vocalist and keyboardist Ronnie "The Hawk" Weiss, guitarist Victor "Moulty" Moulton, bassist Tim "Bucky" Fenton, and drummer Jerry Causi. The Barbarians gained popularity for their energetic live performances and their hit single "Are You a Boy or Are You a Girl," which was released in 1965 and reached the Top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Known for their distinctive sound and wild stage presence, The Barbarians were often associated with the garage rock and proto-punk music scenes of the 1960s. The band's career was short-lived, with several lineup changes and ultimately disbanding in the late 1960s. Despite their brief time in the spotlight, The Barbarians left a lasting impact on the music industry and are remembered as an influential act from the era of 1960s rock and roll.
