They are best known for their 1970 single "Space Rock" which reached number 27 on the UK Singles Chart. The Baskerville Hounds were known for their psychedelic and progressive rock sound, and they were influenced by bands such as The Beatles and Pink Floyd.

Despite their initial success with "Space Rock," The Baskerville Hounds disbanded shortly after its release. However, their music has gained a cult following over the years, and they are remembered as a part of the British rock scene of the late 1960s and early 1970s.
