Their 1966 album "Pet Sounds" is considered one of the greatest albums of all time and is credited with influencing the development of progressive and psychedelic rock. The Beach Boys were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1988 and have sold over 100 million records worldwide.
