The Beau-Marks were a Canadian rock and roll band formed in 1958 in Montreal, Quebec. The group consisted of members Ray Hutchinson, Mike Robitaille, Gilles Tailleur, and Joey Frechette. Their most famous and successful song was "Clap Your Hands," released in 1960, which reached number 45 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the United States.
The Beau-Marks were known for their energetic live performances and catchy, upbeat songs that blended elements of rock and roll, doo-wop, and rhythm and blues.
