Artist Bio:
The Bells were a Canadian pop band formed in 1965 in Montreal, Quebec. The group originally consisted of members Cliff Edwards, Gordie McLeod, and Anne Ralph. They gained popularity in the late 1960s with hits like "Moody Manitoba Morning" and "Fly, Little White Dove, Fly." The band's sound was characterized by their lush harmonies and catchy melodies, influenced by the prevailing pop trends of the time.

In 1971, The Bells achieved their biggest success with the release of the single "Stay Awhile," which reached the top of the charts in Canada and also made an impact in the United States. The band continued to record and perform throughout the 1970s, releasing several albums and singles before disbanding in the early 1980s. Despite their relatively short career, The Bells left a lasting impact on the Canadian music scene with their melodic pop sound.
