The Blue Ridge Rangers is a solo project by American musician John Fogerty, who is best known for being the lead singer and guitarist of the rock band Creedence Clearwater Revival. The Blue Ridge Rangers project was established in 1972 when Fogerty released a self-titled album under the pseudonym, playing all the instruments himself. The album featured a collection of country and bluegrass covers, as well as some original songs.
In 2009, John Fogerty revived The Blue Ridge Rangers for a second album titled "The Blue Ridge Rangers Rides Again," which featured a mix of cover songs and original compositions.
