Artist Bio:
The Brat Pack was a group of young actors who became known for their roles in a series of coming-of-age films in the 1980s. The core members of the group included Emilio Estevez, Anthony Michael Hall, Rob Lowe, Andrew McCarthy, Demi Moore, Judd Nelson, Molly Ringwald, and Ally Sheedy. The name "Brat Pack" was coined by a journalist in a 1985 New York Magazine article, drawing a comparison to the "Rat Pack" of the 1960s.
The Brat Pack actors starred in a number of iconic films, such as "The Breakfast Club," "St. Elmo's Fire," and "Pretty in Pink," which have since become classics of the teen film genre. Although the term "Brat Pack" was originally used in a somewhat derogatory manner, the actors themselves have embraced the label over the years, and their films continue to be celebrated for their portrayal of youth culture in the 1980s.
