Artist Bio:
The Capris were an American doo-wop group formed in Queens, New York in 1957. The group originally consisted of lead vocalist Nick Santo, Mike Mincelli, John Cassese, Frank Reina, and Vinnie Narcardo. They are best known for their hit single "There's a Moon Out Tonight," released in 1961. The song peaked at number 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and has since become a doo-wop classic.

Despite their initial success, The Capris struggled to replicate the commercial success of their debut single. They continued to perform and record music throughout the 1960s and 1970s, but were unable to achieve the same level of success. The group went through various lineup changes over the years, with Nick Santo being the only constant member. The Capris' music continues to be celebrated by doo-wop enthusiasts and fans of 1960s music.
