Artist Bio:
The Cascades were an American vocal group known for their smooth harmonies and a string of hit songs in the 1960s. The group was formed in 1960 in California and consisted of members John Gummoe, Eddie Snyder, David Szabo, Dave Stevens, and Dave Wilson. Their biggest hit was the song "Rhythm of the Rain," released in 1962, which reached number three on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song sold over one million copies and has since become a classic of the doo-wop genre.

Despite their initial success with "Rhythm of the Rain," The Cascades struggled to replicate the same level of commercial success with subsequent releases. They continued to perform and record music throughout the 1960s and 1970s but eventually disbanded in the 1980s. The Cascades left a lasting impact on the music industry with their signature sound and memorable hit songs.
