Artist Bio:
The Cascades were an American vocal group known for their hit song "Rhythm of the Rain." The group was formed in 1960 in San Diego, California, and consisted of members John Gummoe, Eddie Snyder, Dave Stevens, Dave Wilson, and David Szabo. Their most successful single, "Rhythm of the Rain," was released in 1962 and reached the top of the charts in the United States and the United Kingdom. The song has since become a classic and is considered one of the greatest pop hits of the 1960s.

Despite the success of "Rhythm of the Rain," The Cascades struggled to replicate the same level of success with their subsequent releases. The group continued to perform and record music throughout the 1960s and 1970s, but they never reached the same heights as they did with their signature song. The Cascades left a lasting impact on the music industry with their melodic harmonies and timeless hit, "Rhythm of the Rain."
