Artist Bio:
The Castaways were an American rock band from Minneapolis, Minnesota, best known for their 1965 hit single "Liar, Liar." The band was formed in 1962 and consisted of members Jim Donna, Robert Folschow, James Evans, and Dennis Craswell. "Liar, Liar" reached number 12 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and has since become a garage rock classic.

Despite the success of "Liar, Liar," The Castaways were unable to replicate the same level of commercial success with their subsequent releases. The band eventually disbanded in the late 1960s. Despite their relatively short-lived career, The Castaways left a lasting impact on the garage rock and rock music scenes with their energetic and catchy sound.
