Artist Bio:
The Chi-Lites are an American R&B/soul vocal group that was formed in Chicago in 1959. The group's classic lineup consisted of Eugene Record, Robert "Squirrel" Lester, Clarence Johnson, and Marshall Thompson. They are best known for their smooth, soulful sound and romantic ballads, which helped define the Chicago soul sound of the 1970s.

The Chi-Lites achieved commercial success in the 1970s with hits such as "Oh Girl," "Have You Seen Her," and "Stoned Out of My Mind." Their music often featured lush orchestration, tight vocal harmonies, and heartfelt lyrics. The Chi-Lites were inducted into the Rhythm and Blues Music Hall of Fame in 2000, recognizing their influence on the R&B genre.
