Artist Bio:
The Chi-Lites are an American R&B vocal group formed in Chicago in 1959. The group's original lineup consisted of Marshall Thompson, Robert "Squirrel" Lester, Clarence Johnson, and Creadel "Red" Jones. They are best known for their string of hits in the 1970s, including "Have You Seen Her" and "Oh Girl," which both reached the top of the Billboard R&B chart and the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
The Chi-Lites were known for their smooth harmonies and soulful sound, which helped them become one of the most popular vocal groups of their era. They were inducted into the Rhythm and Blues Music Hall of Fame in 2000 and continue to perform and record music to this day, with Marshall Thompson as the only original member still active in the group.
