Artist Bio:
The Chi-Lites are an American R&B/soul vocal group formed in Chicago in 1959. They are best known for their string of hits in the 1970s, including "Oh Girl," "Have You Seen Her," and "Stoned Out of My Mind." The group was originally called the Hi-Lites, but they changed their name to The Chi-Lites in the late 1960s to reflect their Chicago roots.
The Chi-Lites were known for their smooth harmonies and romantic ballads, which helped them become one of the most successful soul groups of the 1970s. They were inducted into the Rhythm and Blues Music Hall of Fame in 2000. The group's music continues to be popular today and has been sampled by numerous artists in hip-hop and R&B.
