The group's original lineup consisted of Eugene Record, Robert "Squirrel" Lester, Clarence Johnson, and Marshall Thompson. They are best known for their string of hit singles in the 1970s, including "Have You Seen Her" and "Oh Girl."
The Chi-Lites were known for their smooth harmonies and romantic lyrics, which helped them achieve success on the R&B and pop charts.
