The Chi-Lites are an American R&B/soul vocal group that was formed in Chicago in 1959. The group's original lineup consisted of Eugene Record, Robert "Squirrel" Lester, Clarence Johnson, and Creadel "Red" Jones. They are best known for their string of hit songs in the 1970s, including "Oh Girl," "Have You Seen Her," and "Stoned Out of My Mind."


The Chi-Lites were known for their smooth harmonies, emotional ballads, and socially conscious lyrics. They were highly influential in the development of the Chicago soul sound and were one of the most popular vocal groups of their era.
