Artist Bio:
The Chimes were a British dance and pop group formed in 1988. The trio consisted of singer Pauline Henry, bassist Mike Peden, and keyboardist James Locke. They gained popularity with their debut single, "1-2-3," which reached the top 40 in the UK Singles Chart in 1990. The song was a cover of a Len Barry track and featured a mix of dance, house, and pop elements.

Their second single, a cover of U2's "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For," was even more successful, reaching the top ten in the UK Singles Chart. The Chimes released their self-titled debut album in 1990, which also included their hit singles. Despite their initial success, the group disbanded in the early 1990s. Pauline Henry went on to have a solo career in music, while Mike Peden became a successful producer and songwriter.
