The Clique was an American garage rock band formed in Beaumont, Texas in the mid-1960s. The band's lineup consisted of lead vocalist and keyboardist B. W. Stevenson, guitarist Randy Shaw, bassist David Dunham, and drummer Walter Johnson. The Clique gained popularity with their single "Sugar on Sunday," which was released in 1969. The song reached number 22 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and became their most well-known track.
