The C.O.D.'s were an American soul and R&B group from Detroit, Michigan, active in the 1960s and 1970s. The group's name stood for "The Conquerors of the Delta" or "The Citizens of Detroit." They were signed to the record label Kellmac Records and gained popularity with their hit song "Michael," which was released in 1965 and reached the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The C.O.D.'s were known for their smooth vocal harmonies and energetic live performances, which helped them build a dedicated fan base.
In addition to "Michael," The C.O.D.'s released several other singles, including "I'm A Good Guy" and "Pretty Baby."
