Artist Bio:
The Contours were an American R&B and soul vocal group formed in Detroit, Michigan in 1959. They were best known for their hit single "Do You Love Me," which was released in 1962 and became a major hit, reaching number 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song has since become a classic and is often associated with the dance craze of the early 1960s.

The group's lineup changed over the years, but they continued to perform and record music throughout the 1960s and 1970s. While they never quite reached the same level of commercial success as they did with "Do You Love Me," The Contours remained popular on the live music circuit and are remembered as one of the pioneering acts of the Motown sound.
