Artist Bio:
The Contours were an American R&B and soul music group formed in Detroit, Michigan in 1959. They are best known for their hit song "Do You Love Me," which was released in 1962 and reached number three on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song's popularity was revived in the 1980s when it was featured in the film "Dirty Dancing."

The group's lineup changed over the years, with various members coming and going. They continued to perform and record music throughout the 1960s and 1970s, with some lineup changes and periods of inactivity. Despite never achieving the same level of success as with "Do You Love Me," The Contours remain a beloved part of the Motown and R&B music scene, with their music continuing to be enjoyed by fans around the world.
