Artist Bio:
The Cookies were an American girl group formed in 1954 in Brooklyn, New York. The original members of the group were Dorothy Jones, Beulah Robertson, and Darlene McCrea. In 1956, Earl-Jean McCrea replaced Beulah Robertson. The Cookies were known for their harmonious vocals and catchy pop songs.

The group achieved commercial success in the 1960s with hits like "Chains" and "Don't Say Nothin' Bad (About My Baby)." They were also known for providing backing vocals for artists like Ray Charles and Neil Sedaka. The Cookies disbanded in the late 1960s, but their music continued to influence future generations of girl groups.
