Artist Bio:
The Crystals were an American girl group formed in 1961, originally consisting of members Barbara Alston, Mary Thomas, Dolores "Dee Dee" Kenniebrew, Myrna Giraud, and Patricia Wright. They were one of the most successful girl groups of the early 1960s, known for their signature sound blending pop, R&B, and doo-wop. The group achieved chart success with hits like "He's a Rebel," "Da Doo Ron Ron," and "Then He Kissed Me."

Their songs were produced by Phil Spector, who helped define their iconic sound with his "Wall of Sound" production style. The Crystals disbanded in the late 1960s but their music continues to influence and inspire artists to this day. Their hits are considered classics of the girl group era and have been featured in numerous films, TV shows, and commercials.
