Their breakthrough hit came in 1962 with the song "He's A Rebel," which reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The Crystals were known for their distinctive sound, blending doo-wop, R&B, and pop influences. Some of their other popular songs include "Then He Kissed Me" and "Da Doo Ron Ron." The Crystals were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2011, recognizing their impact on the music industry and their enduring influence on future generations of musicians.
