Artist Bio:
The Cuff Links were a pop music studio group formed by Ron Dante, a songwriter and record producer, in the late 1960s. Their biggest hit was the song "Tracy," which was released in 1969 and reached number nine on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song featured Dante on lead vocals and a group of session musicians providing the instrumental backing.
Following the success of "Tracy," The Cuff Links released a self-titled album in 1970, which included other singles like "When Julie Comes Around" and "Run Sally Run." Despite their initial success, the group disbanded shortly after, and Ron Dante went on to have a successful career as a producer and performer. The Cuff Links' catchy pop sound and Ron Dante's distinctive vocals continue to be remembered by fans of 1960s pop music.
