The Cure is an English rock band formed in 1976 in Crawley, West Sussex. The band has had various line-up changes over the years, with Robert Smith being the only constant member. Known for their post-punk and new wave sound, The Cure achieved mainstream success in the 1980s with hits like "Just Like Heaven" and "Lovesong."
