Artist Bio:
The Danleers were an American doo-wop group formed in Brooklyn, New York, in the late 1950s. The group consisted of lead singer Jimmy Weston, baritone vocalist Johnny Lee, tenor Leonard Brown, bass singer Willie Ephraim, and pianist Nat McCune. They are best known for their hit single "One Summer Night," which was released in 1958 and peaked at number four on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Despite the success of "One Summer Night," The Danleers struggled to replicate its success with subsequent releases. The group disbanded in the early 1960s, but their enduring hit has solidified their place in doo-wop history. The Danleers' smooth harmonies and romantic lyrics continue to be appreciated by fans of the genre to this day.
