Artist Bio:
The Dave Clark Five was a British rock band that formed in 1957 in Tottenham, London. The band was known for their energetic performances and catchy songs, which helped them become one of the leading British Invasion bands alongside The Beatles and The Rolling Stones in the 1960s. The group's original lineup consisted of Dave Clark on drums, Mike Smith on keyboards and vocals, Lenny Davidson on guitar, Rick Huxley on bass, and Denis Payton on saxophone and harmonica.

The Dave Clark Five achieved success with hits like "Glad All Over," "Bits and Pieces," and "Because," which earned them a string of chart-topping singles in both the UK and the US. The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2008, recognizing their contributions to the music industry during the British Invasion era. Despite disbanding in 1970, The Dave Clark Five's music continues to be celebrated and remembered by fans of 1960s rock music.
