The Dave Clark Five was a British rock band formed in 1957. The group consisted of Dave Clark (drums), Mike Smith (keyboards and vocals), Lenny Davidson (guitar), Rick Huxley (bass), and Denis Payton (saxophone and harmonica). They were one of the leading British Invasion bands of the 1960s, alongside The Beatles and The Rolling Stones.

The Dave Clark Five achieved success with hits such as "Glad All Over," "Bits and Pieces," and "Catch Us If You Can." They were known for their energetic live performances and were one of the few bands to consistently write and produce their own material. The group disbanded in 1970 after a successful run that included 17 top 40 hits in the United States. The Dave Clark Five were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2008.
