The Deadly Nightshade was an all-female rock band that formed in 1974 in New York City. The band consisted of members Pamela Brandt, Anne Bowen, Helen Hooke, and Anne Romaine. They gained popularity in the 1970s for their unique blend of folk, rock, and punk music.


The Deadly Nightshade released their debut album, "The Deadly Nightshade," in 1975, and went on to tour with popular artists such as Bonnie Raitt and Jackson Browne. The band was known for their powerful vocals, strong harmonies, and socially conscious lyrics. The Deadly Nightshade disbanded in the late 1970s, leaving behind a legacy as pioneers for women in the male-dominated rock music industry.
