The Del Fuegos were an American rock band formed in 1980 in Boston, Massachusetts. The band consisted of members Dan Zanes, Warren Zanes, Tom Lloyd, and Brent "Woody" Giessmann. They were known for their energetic live performances and a sound that blended rock, blues, and roots music.
The Del Fuegos released four studio albums between 1984 and 1989, including their most successful album "Boston, Mass" in 1985, which featured the hit single "Don't Run Wild." Despite critical acclaim and a dedicated fan base, the band disbanded in 1990. The members went on to pursue individual music careers and other projects. The Del Fuegos have left a lasting impact on the alternative rock scene of the 1980s and are remembered for their raw and authentic sound.
