The Detergents were an American music group formed in the 1960s, known for their novelty songs and parodies. The group consisted of members Ron Dante, Danny Jordan, and Tommy Wynn. They are best known for their hit song "Leader of the Laundromat," which was a parody of the Shangri-Las' hit "Leader of the Pack." The song reached the top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1965.
