Artist Bio:
The Detergents were an American music group formed in the 1960s. They were known for their novelty songs that parodied popular hits of the time. The group consisted of members Ron Dante, Danny Jordan, and Tommy Wynn.

Their most well-known song is "Leader of the Laundromat," which was a spoof of the Shangri-Las' hit "Leader of the Pack." The Detergents also released other parody songs such as "Double-O-Seven" and "I Can Never Eat Home Anymore." Despite their humorous approach to music, The Detergents achieved some commercial success with their novelty tunes.
